In a world that has witnessed so much pandemic-related suffering at every level, all organizations are called on today to reimagine their compassion agenda and tap its empowering promise. Employees expect it. Stakeholders applaud it. The public demands it. Long an undervalued asset in most organizations, building new ways of delivering the support and healing people need — and avoiding unintended harms — is fast becoming a hallmark that defines our best universities, municipalities, health care providers, governments and private corporations.

Compassion Innovation: Analytics | Labs | Advoacy was founded by Kathleen Finlay to help clients expand the reach, impact and sustainability of their compassion agenda. Our proprietary Compassion 360 Analytics™, combined with the unique knowledge base of real life experiences shared with our advocacy clinics, help to bolster organizational pillars of trust, authenticity and loyalty, boost workplace innovation and strengthen stakeholder esteem. This ensures that compassion resources are delivered where they make the biggest difference. Our work  has resulted in a number of innovative solutions, including legislation in healthcare, workplace and gender safety, sexual misconduct mitigation, expansion of mental health delivery and initiatives to help the most vulnerable.

By creating what we call a compassion ecosystem™, we help organizations reduce the likelihood of ethical missteps and actions that attract derogatory media attention. On occasions when crisis strikes, we provide the world’s first compassion-based crisis management service. It’s a totally different approach than conventional crisis management.

Our extensive work in the media, through op-eds and national news interviews, promotes compassion literacy, fosters trauma-informed awareness and infuses the values of dignity and respect into national discussions.
