A quick look at a few of our generative compassion programs.

Few things are more revealing of an organization than its approach to building compassion and the voice it brings to that task.

In addition to helping clients review and reset their compassion agendas in ways that optimize value and leadership, our innovation lab has produced a series of landmark compassion programs for specific sectors.

We’re always working on new ways to target compassion where it is most needed. Clients appreciate innovative thinking and want to be part of initiatives that are tackling real problems. That, too, is the promise of generative compassion offered by GenCs. We’re happy to talk about building a unique and affirmatively identifiable product for your organization’s needs.

Hire Us Back™

Hire Us Back™

To mitigate the damaging career impact of workplace sexual misconduct and help those most affected on their healing journey, we have developed a robust trauma-informed program to attract survivors of gender violence and harassment into the career streams of trusted employers. With our counsel in ensuring they have the right supports and guardrails in place, these organizations are giving new hope to those who have had their careers upended by sexual misconduct. Hire Us Back™ is now in operation in a number of universities and financial institutions.

Operation Healing™

Operation Healing™

Many health-care providers have come to realize that medical errors are a significant form of emotional harm to patients and families. This harm is often exacerbated when providers rely on the deny-and-defend model that turns medical errors into a form of adversarial conflict. With Operation Healing™, smart health-care chains and providers have begun to replace confrontation with trauma-informed care that brings the healing power of compassion not only to patients and families, but to health-care professionals as well.

Connected Together™

Connected Together™

Loneliness is becoming a life-threatening crisis in many countries. The World Health Organization has warned that it is fast approaching the level of a global epidemic. The UK has recognized the gravity of social isolation by appointing a cabinet-level minister responsible for combating loneliness. Our municipalities often feel the impact of this societal condition most keenly. Many have begun to ask what they can do to deal with the harm of loneliness. We’ve answered that call with a suite of programs, including some that are remarkably cost-efficient and straightforward but are making a huge difference in reminding us all that nobody should have to feel the pain of isolation. In addition to providing a series of compassion-based solutions municipalities can act on, our Connected Together™ program represents a big opportunity for major corporations to partner in supporting and promoting the idea.

Stop It Before It Starts™

Stop It Before It Starts™

Companies and non-governmental organizations continue to be challenged in combating sexual misconduct. Years into the #MeToo era, gender violence and workplace harassment are still harming individuals and damaging organizations’ reputations. In the case of one of the UK’s biggest hedge funds, revelations of sexual misconduct resulted in the total implosion and shuttering of the company in 2023. Preventing incidents before they occur is critical to positive outcomes. We’ve developed a proprietary set of early warning indicators that flag problem areas for clients on a continuous basis and provide the opportunity for corrective action before incidents occur. They are already changing the workplace culture for the better in major organizations today.

Our ESG Includes Compassion™

Our ESG Includes Compassion™

Compassion is typically the orphan of ESG strategy and practice. Yet research shows that key stakeholders, including responsible investors, are looking for companies that prioritize the well-being of employees, that are active in the community meeting social needs and that mitigate the risks of preventable harm. We have a suite of drop-in resources that are ready to go, including building the language of compassion into all three pillars of ESG. It’s a huge boost to the typical ESG approach, and it provides significant competitive advantage.

Working with a major health-care chain in the post-pandemic period, GenCs created a series of programs and instructional awareness campaigns to foster emotional support for doctors facing symptoms of burnout. The programs have since been embraced and replicated by other sectors of the health-care professions. Reduction of stigma and the creation of mentoring networks to ensure early flagging of troubling signs are prominent in the programs.
