Helping the media.

Generative/Compassion’s founder Kathleen Finlay is always happy to work with the media in breaking stories and giving context to news developments. She has long been known for her compassionate voice, always delivered with clear and expert opinion. She is regularly interviewed on national news platforms and by global media outlets.

Kathleen can provide expert commentary for publication and broadcast on a variety of contemporary compassion-related subjects, including sexual misconduct, workplace abuse, the impact of medical errors on patients and families, the delivery of mental health services and the actions of governments and public institutions that harm the most vulnerable.

Her prominently featured columns in The Hill Times and Ottawa Citizen are must-reading for MPs, senators and power brokers and continue to influence the course of groundbreaking legislation. She is one of Canada’s most published commentators on the subject of compassion.
